I’ve noticed that many company websites have the capability to have a blog right within the site. As a matter of fact..our company site…has an empty blog..there was a time I would promote our site heavily but because of the empty space…why bother?
It’s been a long time with that empty wasted space. Sounds harsh…guess what?

The consumer sees it and wonders what’s the point? Why hasn’t anyone taken the time to write some worthy content, heck any content for that matter?
Just think about the perception!
And people wonder why many company blogs fail…why blogging does not work for them..the problem…they were started..exposed but never used!
Many times corporate sites have difficulty in allowing their associates and staff to place content on it…for fear and lack of control…. of what someone else might write….the truth is the most successful blogs allow collaboration..more writers..more content and more likely to be found.
The point here is that if you have a blog…and you have not started blogging…you might want to fill the empty space…you might very well be missing…business…referrals..and relationships…and if you feel you have nothing worthy to write…why not collaborate?
There is a good chance there is so much to gain but you won’t know until you start filling in some of that empty wasted space!
One of my good friends on Activerain...says it best…Blog on!
